Mentoring Award

What

If you are interested in mentoring, volunteering, or would like to gain a qualification which aims to help and improve the lives of others, this course is for you.

The course is divided into two semesters. The first semester is theory-based, and you will learn: different types of mentoring; roles and responsibilities of mentoring; techniques and approaches associated with mentoring; building mentoring relationships; how to end a mentoring relationship.

The second semester is practical-based, where you will put into action and reinforce everything you learned in the first semester.

Who

Open to all current Access to Industry students. If you are interested, contact your Caseworker for more information.

When

The courses runs periodically, usually one day a week. Future dates TBC.

Where

Delivered entirely online in the first semester, via Zoom.
