SMART Recovery Meeting

What

The SMART programme – Self-Management and Recovery Training – sees trained facilitators lead a mutual support group on topics of: building and maintaining motivation; coping with urges and cravings; managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and living a balanced life.

Using evidence-based tools and techniques, the meeting focuses on addressing addictive behaviour to help participants concentrate on the present and set goals for the future.

Who

Anyone 18 years and over looking for support to recover from addictive behaviour, substance or alcohol use.

Classes run regularly – please see our Weekly Programme for details.

Why

Helps support individuals in their recovery, with a focus on the present and goal-setting for the future.
