Access to Industry gets SQA accreditation!

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) Accreditation for our Community College in Edinburgh's Cowgate.

Under Scottish Government legislation, SQA Accreditation assures qualifications offered in Scotland by approving awarding bodies and accrediting their qualifications.

This internationally-recognised accreditation badge ensures that we have the optimum set-up and meet the SQA's high quality standards to deliver courses and qualifications for our students. We're thrilled at the idea of how this will benefit the people that we work with.

Access to Industry works with individuals to support them into education and employment. Our work delivers real transformative change, assisting individuals to overcome personal difficulties that impede their progress. Our aim is to facilitate access to further and higher education, training and – ultimately – employment.

Sally McGreevy, our Co-Chief Executive, says:
'Access to Industry is delighted to be awarded Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) ‘Learning Centre’ status. We've been striving to become an SQA-accredited centre and are excited about how it will benefit our Community College and offer us a recognised badge of quality. We look forward to direct delivery of accredited qualifications to our clients. This will add another dimension to the extensive learning and group work that we deliver, and it will be to the direct benefit of those with whom we work – which is always our ultimate goal.'
