Our weekly art group with Fruitmarket Gallery– Celebrate Art – this year participated in annual summer art weekender, LeithLate. The multi-arts charity, known for creating public art in Leith, invited our young people to put together an outdoor display on Leith Walk for their June 2022 festival.

Working with course leaders and artists Heather Marshall and Bea Makan, the young people created a collection of beautiful tape art birds – the Birds of Celebration – to be shown during the festival, and beyond. If you're lucky, you might still be able to spot a few.
