Our Digital Media course, run in cooperation with Edinburgh College, teaches all aspects of Digital Media, leading towards the creation of a short film on a subject that matters to the maker. This term the students created four diverse, thoughtful and powerful pieces. Here's a little information about each students' short film submission, plus a video still from each:

'Burdiehouse Burn Valley Walk', by Gillian (also featured image, above) – Gillian's film is a video stroll through Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park, highlighting some of its history, natural beauty, wildlife and local community activities.

 

'I Miss the Misery', by Jamie – Jamie has created a powerful music video for the song 'I Miss the Misery' by Halestorm. A dark, dynamic, and expressionist montage of memory and emotion.

 

'Gym Routine', by D'Ellis – D'Ellis has put together a personal video detailing his daily workout routine, including tips on diet, food supplements and protein drinks.

 

'Junior', by Donna – Donna has created a touching video tribute to the memory of her dog, Junior, set to the heartfelt and fitting song of 'I Love My Dog' by Cat Stevens.
