Last few spaces on Understanding Mental Health!

We are pleased to share that we have a few spaces left on our popular Understanding Mental Health short course. It starts on Monday 4 March for 10 weeks, running over two short days – Mondays (1pm-3:30pm) and Fridays (10am-12:30pm). It will be delivered via live online classes.

The course is aimed at people who would like to better understand issues around mental health and wellbeing, by identifying a range of mental health issues and associated behaviours. It will provide practical information and equip students with positive coping strategies to improve and maintain their mental health and wellbeing going forwards.

It will include information on:
* How mental health is portrayed in the media
* Legislation relevant to mental health
* The role of the brain in relation to mental health and wellbeing

In the ten week semester one unit will be delivered. Upon completing the course, students will achieve Understanding Mental Health Issues SCQF level 4 (SQA-certificated qualification).

Access to Industry eligibility applies. For more information contact mail@accesstoindustry.co.uk or call our reception on 0131 260 9721.

The course is delivered in partnership with Edinburgh College.
