Navigator Toolkit launched with MSP Jamie Hepburn

Earlier this week, AI was invited by Capital City Partnership to meet with Jamie Hepburn, MSP for Business, Fair Work and Skills, and the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), to help launch the Navigator Toolkit. We were invited as Toolkit users will be referring their clients to our Encompass service.

The Toolkit is for the use of Navigators who work in the emergency departments of NHS hospitals on Friday and Saturday nights. The Navigators are managed by the VRU and support any vulnerable people who arrive at hospital, ensuring they get the care and outcomes they need. Navigators also meet with the people they assist once they are out of hospital and help them access services that best meet their needs.

It was therefore a real privilege to be part of the Toolkit launch at Norton Park Conference Centre, on Wednesday 26 September.
