New Living Well Course for Parents!

New Living Well Course for Parents!

Our Moving Forward for Parents service supports parents in myriad ways and part of this is to help guide them in nurturing their own wellbeing. Our new course – Living Well – is designed to do exactly that, via mindfulness sessions, garden walks, guided meditations, painting and more!

The course will run from Tuesday 1 April, fortnightly for 13 weeks, providing parents with an opportunity to unwind and focus on themselves, whilst working towards an Improving Wellbeing SQA SCQF 4.

During the sessions, parents will learn basic skills of attendance and time-keeping, plus how to boost their self-esteem and confidence through engaging with others. There will also be a focus on self-help and coping strategies for low mood and difficult mental health issues.

Join us for an introductory session on Tuesday 25 March (10:30am-12:00pm), St Cecilia's Hall.
