Second Supporting Neurodivergent Children Workshop for Parents

Second Supporting Neurodivergent Children Workshop for Parents

After a popular first workshop, our Moving Forward for Parents service will be hosting a second Supporting Neurodivergent Children workshop on Wednesday 26 November (St Cecilia's Hall, 10:30am-12:30pm).

Being a parent or carer of a neurodivergent child can feel overwhelming, especially without the right support. In a relaxed environment, the workshop will help parents to feel less isolated, offering them a chance to connect with other parents, share experiences and explore practical ideas and strategies. It will cover:

  • Common shared experiences

  • Ideas for support at home

  • Helpful services and resources

  • Stories and insights from other parents

Our Moving Forward for Parents service assists with navigating change and transitions within the family, utilising a holistic, trauma-informed approach to help parents overcome the challenges they might be facing in their day-to-day lives.

The workshop is free and open to all parents of neurodiverse children (diagnosed or undiagnosed).
