Disclosure Training

Knowing how a history of offending can impact on your employment choices and prospects can be tricky without knowledge of disclosure.

The practicalities of knowing whether a previous conviction is ‘spent’ or ‘unspent’, whether, or when, it needs to be declared when applying for a job, and how to explain periods of inactivity in work history can all be challenging for someone with a conviction – or whoever is supporting them.

Access to Industry can provide training that gives information and practical advice to agencies supporting clients with convictions. We can also provide guidance and training to employers.

Our trainers work with people with current and previous convictions, and have a wealth of knowledge and information on practical support. There is usually a charge for this training.
