EdinMe is a Service for young people aged 16-21 (25, if care experienced) with emerging and entrenched mental health issues impacting their progression towards sustained education and/or employment. Through 1:1 appointments, the project supports young people in improving their mental health and wellbeing, resulting in their progression onto positive outcomes.
EdinMe particularly seeks to support care-experienced young people, those experiencing or at risk of homelessness and/or substance misuse, and young offenders. We aim to create a safe space, free of judgement, where they can work on their wellbeing and personal goals.
Caseworkers provide participants with intensive tailored support. Whether this be help with confidence building, budgeting, employability and CVs, or assistance with Driving Theory, Caseworkers aim to support young people in making their personal goals a reality.
